So I finally bit the bullet, and got a Costco card. I have to say, the bulk method of shopping appeals to my efficiency tendencies. Also I got really tired of buying cookies only to have them disappear 3 minutes later. My children are vacuum cleaners.
The main downside is that a really industrious, hardworking, yet also very quiet and sneaky toddler now has the opportunity to burrow ratlike into a cardboard box full of individually wrapped goldfish crackers and eat ALL of them. An entire month's worth. And then re-emerge, fat, complacent, and self satisfied, to refuse all food for the next 12 hours.
